Hudjefa I in hieroglyphs

The tenth pharaoh of the Second Dynasty,

The name Hudjefa appears in the Saqqara and Turin king lists. Both describe Hudjefa as the immediate successor of Neferkasokar and the predecessor of Khasekhemwy. Hudjefa is not a proper name, but instead describes that the original name was unreadable to the scribe compiling the list.
