Seti I in hieroglyphs

The second pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty, a.k.a. Sethos I, Sety I

Seti I imitated Thutmose III’s Horus name by using the same one, but adding -sankhtawy, “sustaining the Two Lands,” to it. His splendid mortuary temple at Abydos contain more than thirty Horus names, but they were probably only used in the specific rituals.
