Adjib in hieroglyphs

The sixth pharaoh of the First Dynasty, a.k.a. Anedjib, Enezib

The Horus name Adjib is well attested in the archaeological records. The New Kingdom king lists of Saqqara and Abydos give the name Merybiapen while the Turin papyrus give the name as Merygeregipen, where the U21 sign is probably an error by the scribe. According to Africanus, Manetho called him Miebidos, while Eusebius claimed the similar Niebaes.
