Neferefra Isi in hieroglyphs

The fifth pharaoh of the Fifth Dynasty, a.k.a. Neferefre, Raneferef

Neferefra was the eldest son of Neferirkara, but he died after only about a year of rule. It is possible that Shepseskara managed to usurp the throne for a short period before being ousted by Neferefra's brother Niuserra. He is included on Manetho's king list as Kheres, which is a greek transcription of the erroneous name Khaneferra from the records of the Ramesside scribes.
