Siptah

Also known as: Merenptah Siptah Dynasty XIX

Siptah became pharaoh when his father died, but as he was still only around ten years old, his stepmother Queen Tausret became his regent, and on his death, pharaoh. Siptah is excluded on Ramesses III's list of ancestors at Medinet Habu which can only mean that he was not seen as a legitime pharaoh at the time. Manetho makes no mention of Siptah.
