The ninth pharaoh of the Second Dynasty,
Another elusive pharaoh, Neferkasokar, is thought to only have ruled in Lower Egypt during a time of unstability. He is mentioned in the New Kingdom lists, appearing in the Saqqara, and Turin king lists, but is absent from the Abydos king list. No contemporary artefacts with the name has been found.
